Prof. Shan-hui Hsu Awarded 2019 TECO Award
Professor Shan-hui Hsu (徐善慧), the Director of Institute of Polymer Science and Engineering, received the 26th 2019 TECO Award, a glorious benchmark for outstanding talents awarded by the private enterprise, of the TECO Technology Culture and Education Foundation, on 9th November in 2019. This year's TECO Award has a total of eight winners, including seven scholars in the four major fields of science and technology. For the first time, there were two female winners which include Professor Hsu. Professor Hsu is committed to applying polymeric biomaterials to neural regeneration, stem cell technology, and 3D printing for tissue engineering. Many patents of Professor Hsu have been successfully licensed. She has made outstanding contribution on the development of biotechnology industry and communities.
