A seminar of Outgoing Exchange Students Recruitment for College of Engineering has been held with great success on 1st October, 2008. This is the first seminar of its kind and it attracts over one hundred students. Dean of Engineering College, Prof. Huan J. Keh, delivered the opening remarks; Associate Dean, Prof. Chia-pei Chou, gave a presentation regarding the current status of exchange student program and some students who participated in this program earlier also shared their experiences. In addition, we spent amount of time to do Q&A. There were numerous questions asked including how to apply for the program and credits transfer between colleges, schedule and limitations of the program, etc.

College of Engineering has provided 5 to 9 quotas to students for this program since 2007. We offer opportunities of exchange students at Michigan State University, University of Illinois Urban Champion, University of California Santa Barbara, Seoul National University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. We believe to join this program can not only extend your worldview but also establish the foundation for the future. In addition to that, students can waive the tuition fee of the most university and receive an additional monthly allowance during the period of student exchange.
