  Representing National Taiwan University, Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Huan-Jang Keh, and Dean of College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Dr. Soo-Chang Pei, participated in the 3rd Asia-Oceania Top University League on Engineering (AOTULE) Deans Meeting hosted by the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand on 26-28th November 2008. Dean Keh made a speech on Research Facilities and Capabilities in the College of Engineering and proposed to host the 5th AOTULE Deans Meeting/Workshops in 2010.

 

  In addition, AOTULE held the Students Workshop to promote graduate student's association, and establish individual international academic net. Mr. Min-Hao Yuan, a Ph.D. candidate, represented College of Engineering, NTU to report on E-learning Program for Water Environment Education for School Teachers and College Students – Practices and Experiences in Taiwan. Mr. Yuan used “Think globally, plan nationally, act locally” as the key component of his speech to share the experience in online curriculum for water environmental education in Taiwan.
