The group gathered at Taipei Train Station at noon, and head to Rueifang Station by train, and then transferred to Pingxi.  On the way to Shifen Waterfall, students paid a visit to Shifen Historic Street to see the traditional art craft and delicious snacks of Taiwan.  Walking on the hanging bridge, students were very excited to see the beautiful view of river down the hill, and took many photos on the bridge.  And students were stunned by the great waterfall and scenery.

When the group headed back to Shifen Historic Street, it was dark, and students had dinner at Shifen Restaurant, which provided delicious meal using local vegetable and fresh materials.  After dinner, here came the most exciting activity of the dayˇXset off flying lanterns! Students wrote their wishes on the lanterns and set off the lantern to the sky; it was very beautiful and the atmosphere was touching and sweet, making a perfect ending of this day.

Through the trip, exchange students had great interaction with each other and local students of NTU, having a wonderful time in the nature and enjoying the beauty and valuable culture of Taiwan. It was such a fruitful field trip!
